The Group has undertaken a major initiative in the bioenergy field through MAIA RIGENERA S.r.l. (50% property of Gea Futura S.r.l.), which brings the company into one of the key sectors of our territory. The deal consists in the ACQUISITION OF AN EXISTING COMPOSTING PLANT of Selected Organic Matrices (organic municipal waste and sewerage wastewater), with authorized treatment capacity about 178,000 ton/year. The Company is developing the plant upgrade with anaerobic DIGESTION SECTION and BIOMETHANE PRODUCTION connected to the national gas grid.
